I am an adventurous traveler myself. At one point I traveled around the world. Bicycled in Nepal, surfed in Australia, and hiked to the top of Machu Pichu. But, what I discovered over the years, is that being in a new place and seeing all the sights, is not the same as feeling the culture through other senses, namely tasting the food and wine in the region I was discovering.  Enter my recent adventure: importing indigenous Croatian wines to the US.

For anyone that has been to Croatia, you know that the wine has been grown there since the ancient Greeks. For those of you that are planning your trip, I can vouch that that there is nothing that awakes all your senses more than a sunset in a winery overlooking the Adriatic.

From hearing the waves and crickets chirping, the “maestral” breeze gently caressing your skin, to a view to die for, and… the taste of the local wine, you are transported to a timeless moment.  Whether you are into the white wine like Pošip, or you like dry rosémade from Plavac mali, both of which are fresh and crisp, or you ‘d rather drink a red like Plavac mali, there is no way you will not remember that moment.

To reawaken your senses of Croatia, or to create an image of what that could be, Croatian Premium Wine now offers home delivery to most US States. You can check the inventory which we started with the wines from the Dubrovnik county, including the Komarna Appellation and Dingač. And we are now expanding the portfolio to other Croatian wine regions.
